Privacy Policy — PetGuardian Pro

PetGuardian Pro ("we", "the app") helps you manage your pet's health records, reminders, and photos. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it simple and collect only what the app needs to work.

Information we collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo to create and secure your account.
Pet data you enter: Pet profiles, health records, reminders, weight entries, documents, and photos you choose to add. This is stored in your account so it syncs across your devices.
Photos: Optional. Photos you attach are uploaded to your account storage. We do not access your photo library beyond the images you select.
Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated events (for example, that a screen was opened) to help us improve the app. These are not used to identify you.
Device information: Basic technical data (such as platform) needed for the app to function.

How we use your information

To provide core features: storing records, sending reminder notifications, and syncing your data.
To keep your account secure.
To understand which features are useful and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads. We do not use your data for advertising.

Notifications

The app schedules on-device notifications (meals, medication, vaccines) based on the reminders you create. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase (our backend provider) and is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted to your authenticated account.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual items in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Children

PetGuardian Pro is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Third-party services

Google Sign-In — authentication
Supabase — database and file storage

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
