GoodFile transfers photos, videos, documents and text directly between your devices over your local Wi‑Fi or hotspot. Files never pass through a server or the cloud.

Getting started

Send a file

• Open the Send tab and tap Send a file.
• Pick a photo, video or document (or take a new photo/video).
• Let the other device scan the QR code, or enter the 4‑digit code shown.

Receive a file

• Open the Receive tab.
• Android / Windows: show the QR code / 4‑digit code to the sender.
• iPhone / iPad: tap Open Direct Receive and scan the sender’s QR code for a direct device‑to‑device transfer.

Troubleshooting

• Devices can’t find each other: make sure both are on the same Wi‑Fi network, or use one device’s hotspot and connect the other to it.
• Transfer stalls or fails: some public / guest / corporate Wi‑Fi networks block device‑to‑device traffic ("client isolation"). Try a home network or a phone hotspot.
• Windows: allow GoodFile through Windows Firewall when prompted (it needs local ports 8080–8081).
• Camera or QR scan won’t open: grant Camera permission in your device Settings for GoodFile.
• Received file not visible: check your Downloads / Documents folder, or the in‑app History tab.

Privacy

GoodFile does not collect personal data. Transfers happen directly between your devices on your local network. The app does not upload your files to any server. An optional ad banner may appear after 15 days of use.

การใช้งาน

• ส่งไฟล์: เปิดแท็บ ส่งไฟล์ → เลือกรูป วิดีโอ หรือเอกสาร → ให้อีกเครื่องสแกน QR หรือกรอกรหัส 4 ตัว
• รับไฟล์ (Android / Windows): เปิดแท็บ รับไฟล์ แล้วให้ฝั่งส่งสแกน QR / กรอกรหัส
• รับไฟล์ (iPhone / iPad): เปิดแท็บรับไฟล์ → กด Open Direct Receive → สแกน QR จากฝั่งส่ง

แก้ปัญหาเบื้องต้น

• ทั้งสองเครื่องต้องอยู่ Wi‑Fi วงเดียวกัน หรือเปิดฮอตสปอตแล้วให้อีกเครื่องต่อเข้ามา
• Wi‑Fi สาธารณะบางที่บล็อกการส่งตรงระหว่างเครื่อง ให้ลองใช้ Wi‑Fi ที่บ้านหรือฮอตสปอตมือถือ
• บน Windows ให้กด Allow เมื่อ Windows Firewall ถาม
